Anyone else on here love Karunesh's music?

I have 3 of their albums, Global Spirit, Call of the Mystic and Joy of Life.

If you like world music with a beat, wonderful flute and bansuri, guitars and blended vocals then this band might be just what you're looking for.

Definitely touches my spirit

Do check them out wildflower - my favourite album of theirs is "Call of the Mystic" - it's breathtaking music for the soul

I like all kinds of music, have a couple of "Celtic Woman" albums; but like some jazz i.e. Miles Davis; Santana (check out their "Supernatural" album), Norah Jones, Pink Floyd (now your're talking!!), world music, chill-out, some classical, - and of course my son's music too.

Don't forget to take a listen on his website wildflower - check my main blog for details.

Still very young at heart wildflower

Yes I like bluegrass too; also forgot to add Nitin Sawhney to my list.

What do you reckon on Silver Blade's music?

Silver Blade - touches of Enigma, Jean Michel Jarre, downtempo/new wave/touch of chill/trance.
    (my son Andrew's music).

www.silverblade.co.uk click "Music" - some tracks you can download too. Enjoy

Andrew describes his music as part fantasy/classical, possibly soundtrack music.
    Thanks for listening wildflower.

I love Loreena Mc Kennit, Cesaria Evora (she's a Cape Verdean folk singer). But what I listen to depends on the day.

know what you mean--but my music choices are bipolar like me--swing back and forth a lot--
are there other types of music that really float your boat?

u2 is cool--david byrne...what humans do singer?--if same one that's new age and very catchy, kids love that one, too. on u2-i have only joshua tree and under blood red sky, other stuff was good, but like some of their newest work better.my mood today, though,is oldies but goodies, listening to roy orbison and a little stevie ray.

Karunesh - here's a track from their album "Call of the Mystic". (Quite like the video too, although I'm not really into Gothic).

I discovered them about 4 years ago quite by accident. Then I bought "Zen Breakfast" which is really chill out stuff - Tibetan bells etc.

But "Call of the Mystic" is my real favourite. There is a musician on there who plays the banzuri flute like you wouldn't believe. Very good replay value.

i like the spiritual stuff very much. this would probably be what i pop in when i'm ready to go off like a rocket and know i need to get centered in a hurry. i guess some would say trancing out, i'd call it going in search of my peaceful place for a bit.

I know exactly what you mean wildie. This afternoon I did some cross-stitch and listened to Amethystium - they are good too.

I think I posted a thread in Music about them... If not I will...
