It's been a gorgeous, warm spring so far; winter's returning for a few days so we are all breaking out the sheets, agrifleece, etc. Does anyone else grow hellebores?
The most common hellebores look like single roses, but they bloom in the winter and early spring. I'll try to post a few photos of them; I like anything that's tough enough to stand up to our crazy weather. Some of the best clumps I've seen--and my first sighting of them--were at National Botanic Gardens in Dublin.
I'll have to put that on my list of places to see. That will be cool to see the pictures you post of hellabores new plants/flowers I havent seen or heard of, and I know theres thousands.. is always exciting.
