I will have to take some pictures iris and amorils are blooming. Rose are buding and have recovered from earlier frost. Have to spray for aphids though. Added horse radish to the garden. Happy gardening!

Hello mgreer we have some of the same flowers here too, such pretty colors the Irises can be. I have never grown horseradish before. I do like it on ham, corned beef... I have read it can be invasive, like mint if its not contained in a certain area. Not sure if its true though.

maureen, it can take over a whole area if you don't thin it out. but it is really tasty fresh from garden. the upside, is it doesn't require a lot of maintenence otherwise. weeds don't kill it easily, it doesn't guzzle water or hate sun and it usually produce well if you can keep birds away.

mgreer, i'm jealous--the freeze saw to it that not only would none o my irises bloom, but neither did any of my other bulbing plants from last year. our irises here will only bloom in early and mid-spring, and now will have to wait til next year. my valiant little easter-lilly finally gave up the ghost, too.
