I am not one to be constantly in the garden but I do love my herbs garden. I have a special place where I have my herbs there is a Angel water fountain that I have on my ivy wall and I am surrounded by my herbs and the water trickling from the fountain and my wind chimes make my time sitting there and reading a very peaceful one.

sounds lovely - so peaceful and calm,I like herbs too, I grow mint and chives but the rest is courtesy of sainsburys. You need a sunny spot don't you? for them to grow well.

yes they love the sun and not to much watering.
mint grows like wild fire, i find it best to grow it is a large terracotta pot as is spreads.
I love chives, the garlic chives are nice also. i use a lot of my herbs in stews this time of the year when its cold.

Hello and welcome to the IC garden, I love it when places take the trouble to put out flower baskets and the like, it makes everyone smile. At the moment my wee garden is like a mini lake, with all the rain. Its great as I can look out and watch the wee birds dancing about as they wash.....cute or what.....(((hugs))))to all gardeners on site cheers Katy
