About Me
Prattling on about myself is my least favorite activity so....... Suffice it to say that while I was born in Lexington, Kentucky which is right in the heart of what we call Bluegrass Country I have spent more time living in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in northeastern part of the state.
My places of employment have included a doctor's office, an educational foundation, a travel agency and a utility company. I have also done a little free lance interior decorating.
Of course, terming myself as a 'Professional Time Waster' is dripping in sarcasm as I stay plenty busy enough that there is precious little time to 'waste'. I have spent nearly all of the past two years as Project Manager and Site Supervisor in Florida. This 'title' actually means that we bought a house down there and I have spent nearly all my time transforming it. While this has, of course, been a LOT of work it has also been fun and has paid off in that now I have reached the point where I am able to enjoy it rather than work on it constantly.
Now that the project is basically completed I find myself fortunate enough to begin splitting my time between Kentucky and Florida enabling me to change scenery whenever the mood strikes and schedule allows.
Spending time with family and friends, trying out new restaurants and frequenting old favorites, walks in the hills or on the beach, travel, cooking, concerts, interior decoration, gardening, photography, writing and landscaping are among the activities I most enjoy.
